Arts Council Programs

The Arts Council develops programs that support the arts community - both directly and indirectly. Working with business, arts supporters and artists and arts organizations, all of our programs are designed to help advance and support the arts in the Kansas City region.

ArtsKC Fund - our best-known, united arts campaign launched in 2007 and over the past three years has provided over 1.3 million in financial assistance and support to over 100 arts and cultural organizations, individual arts, and arts projects throughout the five-county area.  The ArtsKC Fund has three primary goals: 1) to provide a stable source of financial support to the arts, 2) to broaden access to high-quality arts experiences, 3) to promote excellence in arts and arts administration.   To learn more about the ArtsKC Fund, click here.

ArtsKC Business Programs - each year over 70 businesses participate as ArtsKC Business Partners and have helped to ensure that our arts community thrives and grows.  In addition to the corporate philanthropy, businesses of all sizes are creating innovative partnerships with arts organizations every day.  The arts provide elements of inspiration and creative competitive edge to business, while business provides valuable industry best practices' to the arts.  To learn more about our business investment programs and investment packages, click here.

Arts Services - as the convener and voice for the arts we work to bring the arts organizations together in various venues to provide information and resources to help them be more successful.  One of our most successful programs is LINC, Leveraging Investments in Creativity, a ten-year national initiative to improve conditions for artists by providing knowledge, information and financial resources to organizations in 15 communities across the country.  To learn more about our Arts Services programs, click here.
