Erinn Faulconer, Administrative Assistant

My best arts memory… Drawing 1 my sophomore year of high school. It was the first time I truly realized how important art can be to ones well-being and it became a form of meditation for me ever since.
A quote I love… Do not underestimate good, thinking it will not affect you. Dripping water can fill a pitcher, drop by drop; one who is wise is filled with good, even if one accumulates it little by little. (Dhammapada 9.7)
If I were an instrument, I would be… the piano.
My favorite artist is… this is way too difficult of a question to answer, but to name a few: Tim Burton’s illustrations, Diane Arbus photography and Wayne Thiebaud’s Two Paint Cans.
I am inspired by… my family and friends.
Erinn Faulconer began her work at the Arts Council in October 2010 as the Arts Administration intern. In March 2011 she worked temporarily as the Research Assistant to help with the Americans for the Arts 2010 Arts & Economic Prosperity and Local Arts Index research studies and in July 2011 was hired on full-time as the Administrative Assistant.
Erinn earned her Bachelor’s of Science from Kansas State University in Family Studies, Human Services with an emphasis in Sociology and a certificate in Conflict Resolution. While in college, Erinn volunteered her time at the Women’s Crisis Center, participated in the Alternative Spring Break work trips and was a member of the National Study Exchange Program. Growing up, Erinn was an active participant in the arts. She practiced classical piano for 13 years and spent much of her free time in and out of art classes, including a pre-college summer program at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
In her spare time Erinn enjoys painting and drawing and is currently working towards building a strong enough portfolio to enter into our very own artist program, Now Showing!
