Donating to the ArtsKC Fund

The Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City will make certain your donation to the ArtsKC Fund is well spent and wisely invested in arts activities and organizations that reach residents across the metropolitan area. Your contribution makes possible many grants to individuals, programs, and organizations that strengthen our region’s economy, provide valuable creative experiences for children, and build a more vibrant community.

Please complete the information below to make a donation to the ArtsKC Fund on our secure server. You may make a one time gift or take advantage of a recurring credit card charge option. We ask that you help us control our expenses by only selecting the recurring donation option if your annual gift will be $60 or more.

Grants from the ArtsKC Fund are awarded to organizations and individuals in three categories:

Inspiration Grants – 5% of the ArtsKC Fund is awarded to individual artists and arts professionals for projects or career development, in recognition of the valuable contributions they make to our local community.

Catalyst Grants - 25% of the ArtsKC Fund is awarded for a variety of arts programs, projects, and activities such as programs for youth, for families, or for fully accessible and inclusive audiences.

Ovation Grants - 70% of the ArtsKC Fund is awarded to well-managed, firmly established
not-for-profit arts organizations that have broad reach and impact throughout the metropolitan
area. All twenty current recipients serve a regional audience with performances, programs,
and exhibitions that have a combined attendance or more than 1.8 million annually.
