Arts Services

The Arts Council provides a variety of programs and services for Artists and Arts Organizations which range in purpose from financial support to professional development and networking opportunities.  Through the ArtsKC Fund, the Arts Council has granted out over 2 million dollars to artists and arts organizations.  Click here for more information about ArtsKC Fund Grants.

As well as providing financial support, through ArtsKC Fund Inspiration Grants, the Arts Council works in conjunction with UMKC's School of Small Business and Technology and the Charlotte Street Foundation, to provide artists with professional development programming and KCArtistLink, a website which serves as a resource for artists looking to build their art business.

We provide opportunities to arts organizations as well!  Whether your group is just getting started or a well established arts organization, there is a way for us to provide assistance.  Through Catalyst and Ovation Grants, the ArtsKC Fund has provided over 60 organizations with either general operating or project support.  We hold bi-monthly roundtables with both the large and mid-sized arts organizations to provide a way for the leaders in the arts community to convene and share ideas, issues, and news.
